SINO MUD LINSEED SOAP (Core Barrel Lubricant)

LINSEED SOAP is an amber coloured opaque paste lubricant used as a core barrel lubricant on diamond core drills in mineral exploration drilling operations.

Application: LINSEED SOAP is widely used as a core release lubricator in mineral exploration/diamond drilling. It is developed to enable the core sample to enter and slide more easily into the inner tube thereby allowing longer runs through fractured broken formations. It also helps to minimise wear on the inner tube without staining the core samples.

    FOAM-PLUS is a high premium anionic surfactants.

    Application: FOAM-PLUS is specifically designed for use in the oil & gas, mineral exploration and water well drilling industries. It is used in a variety of air drilling operations where the foam can be reinforced by using SUPER POLY/CX-TROL. It helps to enhance the rate of cuttings removal, increases the ability of lifting large volumes of water, increases borehole stability and reduces the erosion of poorly consolidated formations.

    PLUG is water swellable but not water soluble, 100% crystalline synthetic polymer.

    Application: SPLUG rapidly absorbs hundreds of times its own weight in water without massive expansion in volume. PLUG is primary intended for as a lost circulation material for Horizontal Directional Drilling and can be also used to reduce rod vibration in bores with lost returns. PLUG prevents inadvertent returns in river crossing drilling work and acts as a stabilizer in boreholes which have poorly consolidated formations of cobble and gravel

    • SINO MUD THN (LIQUID THINNER-DEFLOCCULANT)

    THN is specially formulated to act as a thinner / deflocculant in virtually all water‐base mud systems.

    Application: THN is mainly used to reduce and stabilize viscosity and assists in settling solids. THN can also be used to prevent bit balling and mud rings as it readily removes bentonite clays from the drill string and disperses the filter cake created by bentonite.

    Soda Ash (Na2CO3) is the common name for sodium carbonate which is used to precipitate soluble calcium in drilling fluids.

    Application: Soda Ash is mainly used to precipitate and remove soluble calcium from water based drilling fluids to raise pH (alkalinity) thereby increasing the performance of bentonite and polymer drilling fluids (due to lower calcium content).
